Fiendish Prussian Officer
« on: November 21, 2008, 08:20:01 PM »
I've painted a rather characterful miniature recently, this time it's Baron Von Gruber from the Parroom Station Victorian science fiction range:

He is currently plotting in the Bazaar section of this very site… ;)

Yes. It's clockwork. And the boiler is the size of a house.

Bit like my first cell phone… lol

Do you have any pictures of him next to other figures?  I'm tempted to buy some but I was wondering how they would look next to others.

I'm still using one of those......

Like Justin, I would also like to see him next to some Foundry, Copplestone etc to get an idea of how he'd fit in. I haven't yet bought any of the Parroom range, but he is one that I'd like to get.

Height wise they fit in perfectly with Foundry, Westwind, Ironclad etc. However they are more slender sculpts and consequently can look a little slight compared to more bulky figures like Artizan.

I use them freely with all of the above and they are fine. :)

Thanks, Nick.

It seems they will be fine with my existing troops  :D

Now, once I've put in that order with Empress, then the one with the Perrys, then Copplestone, then Hasslefree, then Warlord, maybe I'll be able to get some....  lol
