Snakemen (and Ladies)
« on: November 30, 2015, 10:43:14 PM »
I'm looking for sci-fi snakemen and ladies. Preferably something like Mierce's Darklands Khthon or 40k's Sslyth, although I'd be willing to accept anything snakey. Anyone got any ideas? Hopefully I won't have to convert a bunch of Sslyth.

Pics below.

Reaper's snakemen collection has some models that would be easy to convert to sci-fi -- just give 'em guns instead of swords.

Look up Critical Mass's "Astagar" for 15mm sci-fi.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

Not available yet but Alkemy Blitz recently funded a KS with robot snake men. Serpendroids. Whatever. Also a couple of more flesh-and-blood versions. Not sure if you can get in on or if you have to wait for retail. Anyway, they're out around 'May 2016 + 6-9 months.

East Riding have the Cobroids, not sure if there are more than two poses though: http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/mythic-worlds-sci-fi-58-c.asp

Koralon?

Doug

The old Koralon might work, but they're pretty hard to get your hands on nowadays.

Thanks.

I'll probably end up having to do that.

They're pretty cool. Thanks.

Damn, they're pretty cool. Shame about the time delay, though.

Not really, Scotia Grendel have them, along with all the old Void stuff.  ;)

If the brood warriors or Larvan are what your after I have some new ones (not in box tough) that I bought dirt cheap in Finland last year. I thought they would make interesting monsters for pulp stuff but I haven't touched them yet and I have enough to share if your interested.

Wow, that just reminded me: There were some Naga warriors and wenches in the old Clan Wars line, right? Yet another possibility.

Ooo, some old figs on eBay at not-ruinous prices.

Glad to hear others can help with Koralon, by the way. I've a box, but wasn't looking forward to offering to ship cross-briny.  ;)
