Haggis Rampant; Islemen Fierce Foot ADDED 13.01.15 (Page 3)

Foot Men at Arms Unit II Added on Page 3

Here's what I've been working on of late (for personal use :) ).

It's the first six Men at Arms on Foot for our club's Haggis Rampant campaign. I sculpted the straps for the shields on as I thought that they looked a little odd just hanging on space instead of being attached to their torso's.

You can see many many more pics and read all the gumph on my La Journee Blog here:

Here's a few pics to hopefully whet you appetite:

They look great Darrell.  :D

But the important thing is how do they perform on the battlefield?  ;)

Hoots mon , these are nicer than a deep fried Mars bar !!!!  Lovely subtle painting style , Darrell , do you realise that,s a Campbell flag , btw , a gyronny of 8 Sable and Or ? I,m sure I,ve spelt " gyronny " wrong but it means a flag or shield split into 8 .

Lovely characterful sculpts, brought to life by top notch painting. The portly chap in the first photo is my favourite.

Thanks guys- very much appreciated as always :)

I,m sure I,ve spelt " gyronny " wrong but it means a flag or shield split into 8 .

No you've got it right  lol

Here's s 'fuller' picture of the Heraldic Banner Bearer so you can actually see the banner (from Flags of War by the way):

First Unit of Fierce Foot:

(please ignore the lightly satin look- it's the light as they are fully matted down  :-[ )

As usual many more pics and info can be seen on my La Journee Blog here:

Cheers,
Darrell.
