Painted this warband for my friend who took part in the Wargames Illustrated Frostgrave day.
All Citadel/Wargames Foundry Samurai, Black Hat Wizard and apprentice.
Toads are Northstar and another resin one!

Absolutely lovely work.  :D Got to see these in the metal on Saturday. They certainly stood out amongst the other warbands.

Unfortunately I didn't get a game in against them.  :(

I did! They were really lovely. We unfortunately had a bit of a
'Score draw' in our game. We were on the table with the huge wall
across it. We each set three objectives on our own side of the
Wall and as a result got three treasures each, although I did

Lovely work on those models

Those are really great looking models. I actually had to stop myself from kvetching about the mix of asian archetypes (Chinese Wizards with Japanese Warriors). Your models, your warband, your game. Do as you will. I'm working on a similar warband using North Star's Ronin Sohei Monk Buntai for the Soldiers and Clan Wars characters for the Wizards and Wardog.

Them looking cool! Nice brushwork. Got some of these myself.
I proxed my first Frostgrave expeditions with my Ronin warbands, too, so ... what can I say? Love the idea.

best wishes
