The only reason I haven't picked one of these up yet is that I'm still trying to figure out a good way to do ocean on my PA table.

Such sensible behaviour is unbecoming of a true wargamer  :D :D :D

Who says it has to be ON the ocean....?
Maybe it is ON the sea bed, which has dried out*.

*My first thought was of the front cover of the David Gemmell book Wolf in Shadow.. ;)

Yep - looks good Lord Snappy. I've just about assembled mine and am wondering about painting.

I have left the roof of the crew quarters and the roof of the wheelhouse unglued to allow access to the interior. Did you do it that way?

Doug

Yes, same as you, Doug, great minds think alike!  ;)

Monsieur S. Picardy complacently surveys the coast of his homeland from the prow of the good ship MV Fuzzy Duck, watched by his somewhat nervous companion, the Rev Dr Spooner.

Now, I've just got to paint it....!  :o

Doug,
The MV Fuzzy Duck is looking good, love the name (played that game a few times in the pub!).

Mason,
Looking forward to seeing your Jon Shannow game...............

I also picked up two of these. These are really good looking and the price is also sweet.
Here is my painting work in progress.

Rodenbach - that's looking very nice. Are you allowing access to the bridge and crew's quarters?

Look forward to updates - particularly interested to see how you paint the inside parts.
