 That's the thing about the Great War, is the naive scaling to modern eyes.wether it's vehicles ,logistics ,airships or the  naive hap hazard approach to concealment and deception.Everything is new and lessons have to still be learnt,and fully comprehend by all sides.Twenty five years later this would attract an awful lot of unwanted attention from above.

Thats a lot of boxes - not sure why they would build the stacks so high!

No Health and Safety inspectors back then - we were told off for carrying boxes up a single flight of stairs in a warehouse. Imagine what a H&S inspector would make a carrying boxes up and down a giant stack of boxes.
