Wow, many thanks for the replies gents  :)

Will you be modelling some floating... You know... ?  ;)

Are you going to sculpt a fatberg?   ;D

Yes, detritus of all sorts will probably be included  ::) (actually, it's the bit I'm most looking forward to  lol )

where did the railings and window frames come from if I may ask ?

Laser cut  ;)

So when you say Malamute made the suggestion, did he also ask for the other utilities to be connected and an option to sub-let?  :P

He start waffling about something like that, but I switched off  lol

Where did the brickwork come from?

Laser cut  ;)

Regarding the playability aspect, we'll just have to see when it's ready. I have two willing participants to see it first hand and comment to the yay or nay  :)

Of course the easy solution would be to have a separate board underneath the house board (or to one side) but as I mentioned, this is an experiment  ;)

Primed the bits this morning and will start to put the proper colours on in due course. Interestingly (or not...) reading about the road surfaces of London of the period a lot of them were wooden blocks or 'sets', quite often hexagonal in plan, a fair few were just plain macadam and granite sets were in the minority. Who knew  :)

cheers

James

Very good start! It isn´t labyrinthic enough for my taste...  lol
I sold my own modular sewers to Ainsty, although the floor sections are only advertised as tube tunnel ceilings...

If it's not going to be a fixed set up, you could also use these as smugglers tunnels for the Dorset games.

Oh, gotta ask, will those street parts / pavement etc be available through Oshiro at some point? I bet there would be a market for those  ;D

Possibly mate but it's not a priority at the moment.

Got the whole thing almost painted. Just the varnish in the sewer and basement doors/windows and we're done. The brothers numpty will be round on Thursday and then we'll discuss whether it's viable for gaming or whether something else has to be thought of.

It could possibly do with more 'shit' on the street but it's fine for now (shit being the literal word of course). Oh, and it's been quite a dry summer in Old London, hence all the 'crap' in the sewer (crap being the literal word of course)  ;)

cheers

I like it!!!!! Looks great mate. What have you used for the street crap? I've been experimenting with ideas from my recent request but this looks rather good.

Well that's a bit crap ;) lol

Wowzers james, that's the start of a super sewer system.

Looks like you will be facing the issue one has with multi leveled boards. I've found single story buildings with removable roofs are fine, but two storeys are a tricky thing to game.

Do you have any solutions to gaming in the sewer and on the road/terrace at the same time?

Cheers
Matt

Beautiful? Attractive? Let's go with stunning too.

Are the railings lase cut card or MDF?

Cheers fellas  :)

What have you used for the street crap? I've been experimenting with ideas from my recent request but this looks rather good.

Just a mix of chopped up fine straw, pva and some flocking.

Not yet, we'll be discussing it on Thursday  :)

0.5mm acrylic and they are fragile little buggers  ::)

cheers
