Here is a small attempt to salvage some of this thread after the great Photobucket debackle.
This has been a very enjoyable project for me. So I would hate for it to just end because I was screwed over by Photobucket. And I am far from done painting Mycheneans

So here goes. In stead of trying to recreate the whole thread here is a massive photodump of the progress so far.

Why not put it in the start of the thread?

I think salvaging is futile... it is totally boring without the descriptions.

While this project is moving very slowly at the moment it is still moving. I finished of some Mychenean cavalry. I am actually not sure if they existed back then. But I they could have as a form of light skirmishers/scouts.

Thanks lads.

There is still some stuff left in the pipe for this project. But it has taken a bit of a back burner at the moment.

Mycenaean cavalry is one big can of worms!

Great to see the photos back - who are using as your host?

I have gone and done some movement trays.

Also I painted up a vignette of Achilles beating up an oiled up prince Paris.

And for fun I did this guy. Minos.

I bought this guy when he came out. And he has been on an epic odyssey on his own. But after some equally epic bit of customer service from Northumbrian tin soldiers he arrived in the end. And now I finally got him painted. Here he is fighting a Greek hero in the depths of his labyrinth.
