And another evil do-er. Hopefully starting to get a theme going with the colours...

I don't usually care much for miniatures of the "sexy" kind, but that miniature is very captivating, and your paint job does her great justice!

Finished my next cultist, this time a treasure hunter.

Primed on Monday, base coated Tuesday, layers done Wednesday and Thursday. Stepped on, on Friday. Repaired (just) , reattached both swords at wrist and repainted at crushed ankles on Saturday. Photographed Sunday. Crappest Craig David song ever.

Beautiful little mini, very unique. I love your fleshtones!

Stepped on, on Friday.

That hurts, hurts right into my soul.

Yeah - she's been well repaired (and well painted!).

Thanks all! It was just a momentary lapse of concentration and she fell off workbench. Immediately stood up to look and realised she was under my foot! The figure was bent over 90 degrees at the ankles and both swords twisted and snapped off at the wrists (the model is assembled like that). It took longer to slowly bend without breaking than it did to repaint but such a pain. At least it was metal, a resin model would be in a thousand pieces thanks to my massive feet!

My box of gnolls is still sitting on my shelf staring at me as I finish my cultist warband for our next campaign. But I will do a Beast Crafter warband in the future and saw this guy and got ahead of myself! He just screams beast crafted Ranger to me! He's from Reaper and available in Bones and metal, but I went with metal to get the detail - I just love his backpack and sword on back. He's gonna double up as an important NPC in my D&D games too so decided to spend a little more time on the details than I usually would!

I just think the detail on this is awesome.

If anyone has any ideas of similar beast craft warband possibles, I would love to know!

A tough call over Xmas, but I did manage to get my final evil warband figure finished in time! This time...dum, dum, dum....an Apothecary! Yeah, I know...no one really bothers with them but it was the only character class I haven't painted so far given all the different themed warbands I'd done. So here he is. He'll hang around, maybe pass a potion on, maybe not. Probably get picked off by the rival warband, probably die horribly.

But, for those that follow me on Twitter as @CthulhuPunk you'll realise what this fella means - I have now posted a new miniature (or group of miniatures) every single week for #miniaturemonday this year! It was a New Years resolution and I'm so happy I managed it - it was very close at times, especially holidays. A lot was Frostgrave and D&D but plenty were for other systems I play. For 2017 I think I will do bigger projects and try not to impose silly deadlines on myself.

Thanks for all the comments throughout the year, and here are the latest guys gathered to say "Cheers!". Hopefully they will find a Wizard and Apprentice evil enough to hire them soon...

Awesome you managed to accomplish your new years resolution...congratulations! And an excellent model to finish it off with!
(I bought the same one for an Apothecary!)

Nice (in an evil, sinister way  ;)) looking warband.  It's a shame that apothecary are  lame henchmen because your figure looks fantastic and will hopefully see some action.  The blacks and reds on his robe came up really well.  Did you sculpt the flagstone on your bases?  I'm jealous because the ones I make never seem to turn out that well.

Cheers! The flagstone aren't hand sculpted I'm afraid..I use a Basius Pad from Wargamesbakery. Basically, put green stuff on the base then press against the pad. Takes a bit of practice!
They are very expensive (I backed the original Kickstarter) but can honestly say I have had more than my money's worth. They do loads of styles, some of the Dwarven floors and Elvish Halls designs are gorgeous. I may well pick up a new one some time. Oh, good sci-fi ones too  :)
