These tiles are fantastic! So much awesome. The attention to detail is wonderful.
(Why is it I always find a new rabbit hole to explore, I.E. your blog, when I have no time?)
What size are the tiles? How wide are the roads?

Another road tile finished which puts me half way through my city fight board (eight tiles down eight to go). I wanted something that said 40K on the board so I created a street of heroes employing old 2nd edition plastic mono-pose Space marines I bought on eBay for a few shekels

OK work on the city fight board has slowed a bit due to a lack of funds. I have a few small pieces to work on but I need to purchase some more building to finish the board. I needed something to keep my interest going while I wait for next payday. I already had one army based up for city fighting (my 888th renegades) and had initially planned to build another Imperial guard style force as opposition however as noted I'm short of funds  :(. Digging around my lead pile I found some Dark Angels who had been used in a none to successful experiment with the Army Painter dip. With a bit of work, some new bases and an attempt to rescue the original paint jobs, I was able to build a new force to join the Diablo Crusade and battle it out across my ruined city with the traitorous 888th. I give you Task Force Retribution

Not my best work but serviceable and more importantly cheap  :)

Really lovely paintjobs and conversions. I'm also impressed by your cityfight board. I especially like the scatter terrain of the knackered sofas and mattresses and things. Even worker drones in the Grim Dark Future have beds! Well. Sometimes.

My 40k is gathering dust, but pics like this do make me nostalgic to it.
Some day I'll get to painting it again...

Another update on my city fight board with another road tile finished. I gave this one a ruined public transport shelter for a bit of interest.

I've also built some scatter terrain in the form of some rubble barricades (unlike most of my city fight board this pieces are free standing so I can move them around as it suits).
