Interesting description of welding seams and flame-cut sections there.

Don't forget some view mirrors/ports for that commander's cupola!

Looking great. How are you prepping the yellow plastic for painting?

I have been sanding the surface with nailfile buffering strips - the solrt bought in chemists for buffing nails - and I usually use a product called Makes Paint Stick - it is sold as a spray undercoat for garden furniture. My onw 'well-used' can is running short - so we will have to see.

That would be cool. The snake especially would add an 'ace' look to your tank...  ;)

Getting paint to stick to plastic is always one of my worries. I hadn't heard of Make Paint Stick, so I'll have a look at that, thanks.

After a quick search, the can I found was £92.36 + £2.80 p&p :o, but other adhesion promotors (my new words of the day) look more reasonable.

Methinks a trip to B&Q at lunchtime may be in order.

Really enjoying what you're doing with the tank, looking forward to seeing it finished. I'm a fan of classic black and green NATO camouflage myself, but the Stuka scheme looks good.

Try Halfords - they have spray paint specifically designed for undercoating plastic car bumpers.

NEAT!  8)  8) The laster cutting on the turret works really well.
Good kitbash tony, and nice attention to detail.

Cheers

The turret is now nearing completion so I thought I would start work on detailing the hull.
