Sci-fi pig-faced orcs
« on: 25 March 2016, 12:53:23 PM »
Apparently, these models were sculpted by John Pickford for Foundry but never released -- at least, so I hear.

Here are one of the assault troopers and one of the rifle troopers with some classic models for size comparison. They're pretty burly as you can see. I was lucky enough to get my hands on what I think is a complete set of 15 models -- 3 guys with rifles, 3 guys with hammers, a commander, commander's orderly runt, two-runt MG team and five models with pistols and various other weapons.

These are the only ones I've painted so far, but here's the commander and MG loader in the bare metal:

Sorry for the not-so-great photos.

More backstory and a shot of all the models here: http://gonzohistorygaming.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/unreleased-foundry-cartoon-sci-fi-guys.html?showComment=1458909952159

I especially like the MG loader! lol

The little guys are my favourites of the whole thing -- the MG gunner is also struggling under the weight of his weapon. They're just adorable.

Those are pretty nifty.

On a slightly less scifi and more alt-WW2 theme, there's Zombiesmith's underappreciated 15mm Porkers:
