Some good looking pieces, nicely painted.
Glad that you put the sources on there (apart from the heavy tracked artillery - I recognise some of the Airfix bits but can't see where the gun barrel is from).

What part of Yorkshire are you from?

Thanks, the gun barrel is from a 40k tank kit, not sure which? Im in Leeds, though I usually get to your part of the world every summer, im always impressed by how many gaming related shops you have there!

Lovely stuff, really enjoying your blog. Very nice selection of sci-fied buildings, I especially like the use of the NASA grand tour poster concept art on your re-purposed WWII ruins!

Also very good of you to show where all the bits are from.

Thanks, I have been forced into doing my own as their is a major lack of resin sci-fi buildings with interiors at this scale which really surprised me, between GZG, Brigade and a number of laser-cut MDF manufacturers its been fairly easy and enjoyable too!

One of the local shops is closing down - currently running at 15% off all prices.

But there are 4 (or 5?) clubs in town.

The largest has about 80 members and meets in Roscoe's snooker club Monday and Thursday nights.

Shame to hear about the shop, which one is it?

Oh and a quick pic of the Ventauran army so far:

Very Nice!!!

Consider me subscribed  :-*

I am slowly making the transition to 15mm.  I am blown away by the amount of stunning models available.

Did you have a rule set in mind for these figures?

Looking forward to your next update  ;)

thanks Fluffy, I have been using Gruntz which makes for a good game at the platoon level and below not tried any bigger as yet, one advantage with this set is it allows you to use whatever models you have, you can see the unit cards in one of my earlier blog posts
