That's a real tough one, both excellent entries

The eyes on the beholder are just  :-*  but then you've got those great colourful knights, really hard choice to make

Ditto! I'd love to know who made it.

Wonderful eyeballs, Axel, and I really like the detail on your rats :)

Jan, Charlie_, the ruin is by Lorenzo at Manor House Workshop of Milan.

I bought several of his pre-painted pieces for my Game of Thrones project, and they are really excellent.
I have titivated them a little with a couple of extra washes and some additional foliage, but basically, they come as you see. Extremely good value. Very nice pieces. And useful for all sorts of settings.
You will be seeing several more of these in this LPL, because I bought lots of different pieces :D

Love both entries!  This one was a very tough call.

I have to ask, though - who makes those giant ants in the Beholder's entourage?

The eye! The eye! That beholder should see a doctor. Some topical cream will clear that pinkeye up in no time.

That green chap reminds me of a 54mm Timpo figure from many years ago....

Exactly my point of reference, Gary  :)
I take my medieval researcg seriously...  :D
When you see the other pics once the match is over, you will see he has a red heart on his shield... Just like that old Timpo knight...
If it was good enough for my 8 year old self, it's good enough now!
 ;)
