English supply wagons for Agincourt game
« on: 21 April 2016, 10:41:03 AM »
I'm reprising an Agincourt demo game on Saturday, at Leeds Royal Armouries, as part of the HYW wargaming weekend thats on.
Adding some more French foor knights (still in progress!) and these wagons, resupplying the archers.
Perry wagons and Foundry figures running with supplies (with minor conversions).
Just finished...

Please pop along for a chat if youre there!!
Simon.

Very good job indeed.

I was asking to myself how would be a medieval wagon for human carrying ?
Does anyone have an idea ?

Fantastic - well done :-*

Are you sure the figures are Foundry? - I think most are Perry.

Ehouarn
if you mean upper class folk, then there are lots of images of this style of wagon, which this picture shows construction of (also the same for funerals).
I'm planning on trying to make one this summer.
Lower class in the same style as these I would think, but mainly would travel on horse?

Thanks for the nice comments.
Simon.

Superb stuff, it's this sort of thing that lifts a game.

Very nice. I really love those conversions. May I ask who makes the trunks/chests?

Thanks for the comments - dbsubashi, the chests are by Miriliton (Italy), who do some nice medieval pieces.
Simon.
