That is all looking amazing!

I'm semi-seriously considering a 4"x4" set of asteroid/lunar terrain for sci-fi gaming, something like this with set hills/craters/etc and possibly structures, so I've been looking at your rocky hills with interest.

Thanks  :)

For scifi, at some time in the future I have a Ghosts of Mars type game in mind. Some of the bluffs could be arranged into a quarry, etc. I might need to add an alternative corner tile with a piece of railway line as an escape objective but the track could double up for Arizona 1875/80 as well.

These boards look brilliant and very versatile.  :-*

I love how you tackle all your projects SI like a military operation - with well laid out plans and direction!

Are you making tiles to omit the village entirely if needed and what about a hill fort tile?

Cheers all  :D

As regards speed .... It's a bit deceiving really as the different stages don't take too long. That said, having a 'system' also really helps: as this is the second group of these tiles I don't have to work much out so can just crack on.

As regards more tiles and hill forts.... Yeah all possible and probable in time. I'm presently restricted to a 5x3 playing area and am out of storage space. When I have my permanent larger table I'd really like to add the option of a stepped section for cliffs and 'plateau' effect like the Jimbibbly Dorset board.

This all applies to my Temperate board as well. That's presently at 5x3 but I have ready to go, the parts (tiles, paint, corks, grass/tufts/flock, trees) to make three substitute tiles for a different layout (and also suitability for a different period).

Anyways, thanks all for the continuing interest: it makes me pause to think and is also very encouraging.  :D

Thanks muchly.  :D

All completed now, just waiting for some glue to dry and maybe the light to improve, as the colour really warms when the light is brighter.

Anyways, a teaser (note tiles not fullly lined up as they're not on a level surface):

Hopefully, more photos later.

Ta  ;)

Here's another, simply because it has warmer colours......

NB: try and ignore milky streaks in water; it was only poured last night and they'll be gone tomorrow.
