 ;)

(I am quite taken with that horse-basing idea. I think I shall be nicking that one...)

It's quite handy for positioning foot minis up close to mounted minis.

Very quick to do. Two washers on a level surface (normally protected with brown packing tape), superglue (obviously!) to affix horse base, leave to cure (any overrun of superglue will not stick to the packing tape), slip a little paper between any voids in the washer that aren't covered by the horse base then add more superglue and sprinkle on sifted sharp sand, leave to cure, if desired tidy up underneath of base with GS (I like to be able to write on which unit the mini belongs to).

Just call me Mr Helpful!  :D
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Thanks  :)

In case of interest, I've added a page to my project website of some of the research images that I've collated: photos, illustrations, paintings, prints:

Immensely impressed, well done! (Suitably inspired now to get sorting out some of my colonial stuff in anticipation of Mr Mersey's TMWWBK rules.)

Despite the lack of updates, the project is not dead!  ;)

Evidence that batch painting of the Afghans is underway:

Just 6 colours roughed in so far. Weapons, flesh, hair and a few horsey bits to rough in next then a wash then two or more layers of highlights.

Bleedin' Nora!
 :o :o

That is what you call a 'batch'!
Painting that many at once is something that would drive me bonkers.*
I just dont know how you can do it.
And not a paint roller in sight!
 ;)

*Which cannot really happen to you, can it?
