Help Identify These Drones/Bots?
« on: April 25, 2016, 01:14:30 AM »
Bought these from out of a glass display case at the FnLGS (Friendly non-Local Gaming Shop) while traveling, and can't find them anywhere.  Anybody know who makes these?  I'd like to know if they have any other styles...

Are they BOPPER minis from Metagaming's ancient Rivets boardgame?  I know there were figures made for it, although I've never seen them.  At the very least they're an homage to the game.  No other excuse for the can opener on the Jack Bopper, the middle two are probably Rocket Boppers, and the one on the left is a Tiny (pronounced "teeny" of course) Bopper.

Hadn't thought about them being that old, but looks like a homage:

Yep, that's it.  Even more obscure than I thought.  Thanks for the help.

Probably shouldn't been clearer - they don't look like the exact miniatures in the game (but as we currently think, a homage), and the recasts in my link above don't look as good as the miniatures in the original post.

So... still a mystery.

Same game line that produced OGRE, so not that obscure.
