Banana Wars in 15mm?
« on: April 25, 2016, 03:19:31 PM »
Anyone making figures suitable for American forays into the Caribbean and South American arenas?

I have these for China, and they would probably work for very late period Banana Marines, just seeing if there other options for Marines and options for their opponents.

None that I know of. I always thought it a pity that Eureka didn't add some hatted head variants to their USMC range. You could try asking Nic or see it head swaps from the old Minifigs' WW1 range on to Eureka bodies would work. They did a pack of US infantry in greatcoats wearing campaign hats.

By the by, I think you meant Caribbean and Central America. The US didn't intervene in South America at this time, at least not in a direct, military sense.

Nice model of the San Pablo too.

Indeed, Central is what I intended!

Head swaps are beyond my skills, especially in 15mm.  Guess I will focus on China, but I have some great buildings from Eleven Tree Designs and can buy more from Sarissa that would work in Central America I believe.  I can't buy Chinese buildings in 15mm, but my helmeted Marines work there while I have buildings that would be suitable for banana wars, but the helmeted figs do not work there.  :)
