Spanish building bases - The posh house is complete!
« on: 30 April 2016, 08:45:58 PM »
I've got some building bases to make for David Imrie for his Carlist Wars project. The two layouts and initial start are below.

Generally stucco but the smaller building on the first base will be raw stone. I'm looking forward to making the church but they'll be done one at a time.

cheers

James

Another soon to be awesome Bibbly building  8)  8)

Will the church and posh house be on the same base or separate? They look a little close if based together no?

Cheers
Matt

Thank you kindly  :)

That is the intention but as you say, they might be a little cramped. I'll have word with David and see if the base can be a little wider  :)

Not quite, just a wife working the bank holiday and no normal work to worry about  :D

Finished the main bulk of the main building and added the timbering to the front. The doors are yet to be done along with the balcony and roof structure obviously. There will be a texture mix applied to all the walls and a lesser version applied in between the timbers.

cheers

Looking great so far James!
I think the Church and Posh house on their own
bases would be nice?

Yeah, just sent you a text before seeing this  lol

150mm x 200mm for each would work I think.

cheers

I like that building arrangement a lot. Is that foamed pvc boards you're using?
