Love it!

Slightly biased, as my guys have lots of similar conversions, but I think it'll really suit your style - keen to see him painted. As ever, enjoying your work!

That's a very effective conversion! The pose looks great, as if he's bracing himself to hack the legs from a charging horse coming his way.

Thanks guys, pretty happy with him. One of the other poses felt like it would be pretty workable for this treatment as well:

What house do you think they should be from?

Beesbury was the first house which came to mind.
Otherwise Dondarrion, Dayne or Connington

Hello again! Small update as I plug away at random models. These are four Scottish archers from Antediluvian miniatures, sculpted by Matt Bickley.

They will join my 16 claymore english archers, also sculpted by Matt, in this unit of 20 human rangers for Oathmark. Styles are not an exact match, but close enough.

I see these as men recruited from the hunters and trappers of the Wolfswood. They wear more natural colours to distinguish them from the uniformed Archers.

New additions:

Whole unit:

What do you think?

Nice work, and they look good as a unit (obviously helps that Matt sculpted them all)

I really like that subdued almost purple brown as well

Got these three finished as well, three more Bickley Scots. Two have had their arms swapped for Perry agincourt bits. Ended up painting these as Starks and a Karstark.

Agreed! Excellent work!

The Agincourt arms on the foot knights work really well too!

Those are really great looking archers! Antediluvian and Claymore both have beautiful sculpted archers.

Thanks all! Akula, the purple brown is scale75s red leather, quite a nice shade indeed.

They do indeed! Matt has also done some lovely Saxon archers for Footsore which I have just started painting.

As ever, you've done a super job with those guys. They really fit your painting style, I'm more and more tempted to jump in on them.

Did you ever play a game called For Honor? The rightmost knight looks very similar to the Warden from that game (only with a polearm, not a longsword).

Looking forward to seeing more :)
