Ooh, like him. The style reminds me of the stop-motion episodes of the Welsh/Russian Shakespeare Animated tales TV programme. He looks like he's stepped straight out of one of those.

Hey! I can still make it!!! I returned from taking a group of middle school students to Greece on Monday, fully expecting this club to be finished. I had started a figure, but couldn't get him done before departure. Now, I will redouble my efforts to be one of the final 17 before the club closes...

And that is indeed an amazing standard! In fact, the entries for this club have been top notch...
