What is first Out of game spells or check for the loot?

The question is because i bought a embed enchantment grimorie and dont know if i have to wait for the next game or can use it now.

There are two opportunities for out of game spells, post-game and pre-game. You couldn't cast it post-game because you don't know it yet, you have to spend the XP to learn it first. However you could cast it before the next game, so you'd have the advantages for that game.

One more question!

Can i cast the spell revenant in the same game that i looted it and a soldier died.

The example, i check for the soldier injures, he died.
Rolling for the treasure i got the grimorie and i spend the exp to learn it.
Can i roll for that soldier?
