Can anyone recommend a good miniature to use for a Blood Crow? I'm thinking maybe some Warmaster Eagles but I'm not sure on the side/scale.

The official one? http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=7746

I am a papercrafter. I made a whole sheet of crows. More crows than you will ever need. Just fold them in half, cut them out, and stick a pin through them to glue into the base, you have a flying crow.

The Renedra graveyard sprue has a birdie on there. Games Workshop's Garden of Morr too I believe. Reaper has a Raven, but also e.g. a vulture. There's the plastic owl from one of the GW Wood Elf kits (dryads I think). Pretty sure the Reaper crow (and bat) swarm figures also come with some spares. And if all that fails, some manufucturers (war-bases for one) also sell chickens, which I'm now very tempted to get for my latest warband...

The WM Gaint Eagles are big, even against 28mm figures. Their wing span is getting on for 50mm.

Great for a golden eagle on similar in 28mm, probably a bit big for a crow!

Wow, thanks guys. Lots of info and lots to choose from.

Thanks @punkrabbitt for sharing your crows. I'm going to use them initially till I can find ... or make one of my own.

I want a really big crow, think Eagle size, hence why I was looking at a Warmaster stuff. I think Blood Crows should be huge compared to other birds.

I had a play around with them yesterday, and they are fast. I sent the crow off on 1 flank, and my 2 Warhounds on the other to hunt down the enemy Wizards. As the Wizards tried to back away from the Warhounds, the Blood Crow held one up long enough for the Warhounds to reach ... and eat him.

2 turns of the Wizard not casting spells, a dead Blood Crow, (no cost) a dead Warhound, (20g) and a Dead Wizard.
Job Done.
I know the voices aren't real .... but they have such FASCINATING ideas!

I have a vampire themed warband in various stages of construction, my crow master has a swarm of bats instead of a single bird for a more dramatic effect (as they are all vampires I have BIggerized most of them and so a singular bird any smaller than an eagle wouldn't have fit) if there are bat swarm models there must be a murder of crows?
I do like the idea of teaming the crow up with a warhound for a speedy speed bump

Games Workshop do a raven flock, which I suppose you can pick up secondhand. Though one of those would do for a Bloodcrow, so I guess you could have a few Crow Masters. :P

Presumably Reaper will have the same.

Those are called "Razorwing's" and are just what I've been looking for.
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Dark-Eldar-Razorwing-Flock

I searched high and low and all I could find was Copplestone vultures, But these will come in handy for Dead Man's Hand which we're playing next month.

I've ordered some Razorwings as I'll probably have 2 in my war band, and donate the other 2 to my club for everyone to use.

Cheers @Wyrmalla.
