Has Anyone Played The "Dark Alchemy" Solo Campaign?

Has anyone played through the "Dark Alchemy" solo campaign?

If so, what did you think of it?

What did you use for the special miniatures?

I played it, and I thought it was fairly enjoyable. It was difficult to not cheat, as, who's going to stop me when I am all by myself, but I played it fair and it was fun. I enjoy it better with other players, but it functions well. I was surprised that the first two scenarios were actually quite easy. The Alchemical Monstrosity took two turns to fell (at the cost of my Large Construct of course) and the endless waves of Burning Skeletons in Scenario 2 was underwhelming, as the skeletons all had 1 hit point. The Fireslingers in the last scenario, actually were the hardest for me, and I play as an Enchanter (Fireslingers count as medium constructs). All in all, fun campaign, playing it more than once is kind of cheating, because you can get almost a thousand experience from the whole campaign, if you get all the treasure and kill every figure.

For the Alchemical Monstrosity I used the Star Wars Miniature "Ghhhk"
For the Flaming Skeletons, I was lazy and just used skeletons
For the Fireslingers, I used a mix of rock golems with red highlights, and these clockwork artillery soldiers. Both from Mage Knight, but I forgot what they are called.

I would give it a run, but only for a new character, as it would be far too easy if you played with a higher level character.

Thank you,

I do hope you enjoyed reading whatever it is I have typed, I likely put some thought into it, and appreciate when others look into my brain and go, "Huh, okay"

I'd love it if they made some more solo campaigns.  Have no one to play against normally.

I'm going to try this one soonish, but still building my terrain and getting minis.

I know EXACTLY how that goes! I am painting my minis tonight and going to give it a try tomorrow or Monday. Once I see how it plays solo, I will be writing a few solo scenarios myself, and maybe even a small campaign.

Punkrabbitt~ that would be great.  Please do write some solo scenarios.
I thought about doing some myself as well.

I've played some and really enjoyed it. I'm hoping more solo material comes down the pipe. Especially if it can be made into co-op easily.

For minis, I used something from D&D Wrath of Ashardalon for the abomination. Name escapes me but it had tentacles and everything. I just used skeletons and fire imps from Descent for the rest.

Dreadknot69, you used an "otyugh," which seems to be the choice of many players, myself included. I am going to be playing through this tonight, I will let y'all know how it goes.

EDIT: I probably won't be doing this tonight after all. More likely tomorrow night.

Thanks for the name, I knew it was something weird like that!

For the OP, there was a thread around here from someone who converted the Golem scenario to a solo adventure. I don't have thread handy as I'm on my phone and lazy.

Relatively detailed write up here:
http://statsfreak.blogspot.fi/2016/05/dark-alchemy-solo-campaign.html

And that Golem conversion was done by me and can be found here:

If any of you lonely 'gravers want to give it a go, I'd love to hear if the balance is anywhere near passable.
