Sci-Fi skirmish rules for Metamorphosis Alpha

      I am working on a Metamorphosis Alpha campaign an during the curse of the campaign I planning on planning on having some large skirmish battles and I have several things that need to be covered in the rules:

                    1. 1 character = 1 model
                    2. Rules for robots
                    3. Excellent selection of weapons
                    4. Rules for powers/mutations and psionic
                    5. Decent rules for vehicles.
                    6. RPG-lite rules.

       Please feel free to post your recommendations.

A noble undertaking. Am I right in guessing that you don't own a copy of Fan-Tac Game's Space Marines originally published in 1977? There was a set of conversion rules for Metamorphosis Alpha in the appendices...

Not quite sure what you mean by this. Character/unit quality progression inside a campaign?

Scott Pyle's Goalsystem engine delivers on all points, with Supersystem 4E or Blasters & Bulkheads or some combination of the two probably being the easiest to make fit.  You'll have to accept a relatively low level of detail/differentiation (ie SS4 vehicles work very much like "regular" supers) but there isn't much those rules can't do.

Alternate choice would be Shock Force/GWAR, if you can find a copy of one or the other.  Little light on the "RPG lite" element, assuming that means character advancement.

Mutants and Death Ray Guns, but you'd have to use the vehicle rule from Flying Lead, if that's possible.

   During the course of the campaign, I am planning to have some larger battles and I am trying to find a set a rulea set that would fit in.

I'd suggest Fivecore from Nordic Weasel Games. It's playable with as few as 5 minis per side and provides vehicle rules and a good, rpg-ish character generation tool. Also, it offers a great way to organize and play a campaign. The Fivecore basic rules don't specifically mention robots, but maybe you can find some more sci-fi material in the expansion "Five Parsecs from home".

Space Marines. predates "Games Sweatshop's" game Space Marine by a decade IIRC. If I shoot a photo of the pages covering the conversion would that be of help to you in developing your project?
