Blacksmith's sci-fi 15mm. A Tavshar Prime from Loud Ninja.

As I said in another thread I'm feeling the 15mm sci-fi bug again. Here are my first painted miniatures. A joy to paint:
Khurasan

Highlander Studio

GZG

Sorry for the big size. I'm crap with computers and don't know how to shrink them.

Wow, nice paintjobs!

I really like the apes and the orange guys (though all of them look really good!)

Fantastic work on the faces of those GZG minis.  Some of my favorite 15mm sculpts there, and you've really given them a lot of character.

Thanks guys. I'm discovering the pleasure of painting 15mm as they admit a lot of detail but get painted faster and easier.
Cheers,

Ooh!  Nice.  I'm always happy to see 15 mm stuff here.  These are a good assortment, with the monkeys standing out as a truly unique choice.  But those Khurasan gangers/punks are something I actually have myself, and plan to paint sometime.  They're oddly small compared even to other Khurasan figures, is the only thing.

Great to see you back in to 15s Javier. You know its the one true scale... for somethings...

You're painting is excellent as usual.

Mostly about miniature painting and collecting, mostly 15mm non-historical, but then anything goes!

Thanks again for the nice comments guys. Yes, I think anything related to firearms is better in smaller scales IMHO. Besides, 15mm sci-fi it's easier for using tanks, VTOLS, mechs, terrain and such.

Ha, I love the grim hyper Brutalist world of concrete slabs.  It's at once stylishly minimalist and super depressing.

I remember when you sold off a lot of your 15mm  because you said your eyesight wasn't as strong as it used to be.  Your minis look amazing.  Awesome work!

Heh, I suppose I was trying to convince myself somehow to quit from 15mm, though I'm no more able to paint a 28mm miniature's eye.
I'm always returning from old projects. I guess it's part of being an old wargamer  ::)
