Love to see some pics of those. ;)

One of our players, laurent aka pif d'aigle, had made a 15mm conversion of this asterix's chariot.
We had ben hur and massala ones too. You always needs a good and evil character in this kind of game  lol lol lol

Cheers
Eric

With the new arrival of Faustus Furius, i ll start the project again for my club but in 28mm.
For a cost question, i ll scratchbuilt the chariots and use the plastic horses from
Perry medieval spare part sprues.

I have some 28mm converted into driver and i try to give each of them a characterfull look.
We 'll get Ben Hur (white horses team of course) and Masalla (black ones) as the  bad guy  ;)

Also availablee :  a greek driver, a spartan , an ethiopian prince, an arab  (even if ben hur is already driving for an arab sponsor), a celt (of course), an egyptian, a german , a nubian driver.

I hope to create some new rules (like traits for "song of......") for customized the driver at the player choice.

Then a lot of work  o_o

Cheers
Eric

I have a bunch of Essex chariots from Biblical and Greek/Persion eras. The MPA range scythed chariot would work great. 4 horses, one rider, optional scythe pieces.

I've made up about two dozen custom teams, with a fantasy theme. Most of my teams and crews are from (cherry picked/special order) Splintered Light Miniatures. The chariots themselves are mostly scratch builds. Picked up the FF rules based on the various blogs and forum comments I've come across.

Could you show us some of your converted chariots ?

Hello gents,

Nic here, the author of Faustus Furius. I'm delighted with the way that the game has been so favourably received. I don't post in forums too often any more, but I'll make sure to pop back here every now and again to catch up on your projects.

If you have any rules queries, you can either post them through the:

sure...

these are the teams I have completed at this time.
scale is 15mm, on 60mm x 40mm bases.
4 of the 14 chariot bodies are commercial, the other ten are conversion/custom/scratch built, from a variety of sources.

top row:   dwarves w/ polar bears ; rangers w/ giant weasels
2nd row:  skeletons w/ skel horses; sons of horus w/ griffons; orcs w/ wargs
3rd row:   skeletons w/ skel horses; dark elves w/ raptors; ratlings w/ giant rats
4th row:   wood elves w/ saber tooth cats; elves w/ elk; elves w/ lions
5th row:   high elves w/ unicorns; dwarves w/ grizzlies; goblins w/ giant boars

And some of the WIP chariots.

I agree with you, nic, Pacarat has done a very good work on his 15mm racing chariots.
Hope to see a race report in a near future about them.

Cheers
Eric

All this got to me! Rules ordered, downloaded and printer.
15mm Chariots coming in the mail.
Guess I need to build a track.

This will put me more behind on my Viking army for Lion Rampant!

Thanks guys, for all the help!  o_o
