I woke the next day with a throbbing headache and a new scar in a bedroom all decked out in Barbie pink, late I found out it was Gwyn's old room. I quickly learned that Earl was in the guest room across the hall, also with bloody holes in him stitched up by Gwyn's talented fingers. We had taken the farm and no one died, at least none of us. Stark had finished up those gangers, but a couple got away. Great, more punks who hate us. That night, Gwyn told me that she had found her parents. Out behind the horse barn where the daffodils bloom first in the spring, her father had buried her mother and then shot himself. They had both been injured by Zeds in town. The house was still a mess, but they were getting it into shape. The good news was the gangers hadn't been able to get into Gwyn's Dad's gun safe and now were had a nice supply of ammo to go with all the guns we got from the dead punks. It seemed everyone obeyed Gwyn while I was out of it. The gangers had apparently been hiding from the Zombies that came up when they set off the campers burglar alarm. Stark then told me that the electricity had been out all day, but over the car's radio, they had heard that the governor had declared martial law across Tennessee. Not good. Not good at all...
Day 11
I woke up very late in the afternoon. Gwyn thinks I may have a bit of a concussion. Earl is doing OK, but has a high fever and is in a lot of pain. Other than the first aid kits, we have no real medicine. The punks trashed or popped anything that Gwyn's folks had. When I asked where Stark was, Gwyn looked nervous, then blurted out that he had taken Pri and Shawn to a Walgreens a couple of miles away hoping to get some much needed medicine...

Stark took Abu's van and after not too much hassle, made it to the parking lot.
The noise of their approach drew the undead
One rushes the passenger door and Pri dives from the passenger seat into the back and Stark shoots the Zed
then steps out and ginsu's two more
Pri and Shawn pile out of the van
and cover Stark's back as he clears the way
the zombies are distracted by a passing helicopter...?
but Stark
keeps going
pushing towards the front door Stark fires his last round
dropping a zed and realizing he forgot his extra mags, Katana only from here
Stark pushes hard, Pri and Shawn picking off a couple on the sides
Until all is quiet once more
stepping into the dimly lit store
they searched through the scattered debris finding 1 Food, 1 baseball bat and 1 Luxury Item-pack of Trojans
stepping into the trashed storage room
they come face to face with a 12 gauge!
A quick but tense discussion followed
and they were allowed to search the pharmacy and leave in peace
they found enough scattered meds for 1 med kit

Those two were no problem, but the containers were empty to.
Stark told me his tale with a smile as he cleaned his sword. It had gotten tense he said when he only knocked a couple down and more zeds charged him, but Pri and Shawn had his back, popping the downed zombies. Another verification not to go solo if possible. The bad news was Shawn. He had found a set of keys which turned out to be to one of the trucks in the parking lot. After a telling Stark to tell us thank you for saving him, he said he had to go find his friends and left. Well, as the distant rumble of an oncoming thunderstorm, and with the power still out and nothing but old news on the few radio stations still broadcasting, we settled down to what would hopefully be another quiet night. What will tomorrow bring?
Well after a long hiatus, a finally got back to game. Stark proved that a Rep5 with rage and katana is hard to beat. But, he was almost overwhelmed as a result of one poor roll. If Pri and Shawn had not been right there to finish off a few, Stark may not have made it home. Both Pri and Shawn made their Rep increase rolls, but at rep 5, its not wonder Shawn didn't make the Keep It Together roll. But at least he left amicably. The lack of good stuff found was a bit of a disappointment, but does make sense. A rrep 5 survivor was a bit of a surprise in the store, but luckily the talk went well enough that bloodshed was avoided. Hopefully the next game won't be so long from now. Thank you for looking.
