I hope this is the right place! As it is somehow ACW-related, I put it here.

A little tribute to a great song. Not part of any range just a little one-off fun on the side.
"Virgil Caine is the name
And I served on the Danville train
'Till Stoneman's cavalry came
And tore up the tracks again
In the winter of '65
We were hungry, just barely alive
By May the 10th, Richmond had fell
It's a time I remember, oh so well
The night they drove old Dixie down
And the bells were ringing
The night they drove old Dixie down
And the people were singing
They went, "Na, na, la, na, na, na"
Back with my wife in Tennessee
When one day she called to me
Said "Virgil, quick, come see,
There goes the Robert E. Lee!"
Now, I don't mind chopping wood
And I don't care if the money's no good
You take what you need
And you leave the rest
But they should never
Have taken the very best
[...] "

'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down',
The Band (lyrics by Robbie Robertson)

Three miniatures - a farmer couple and a southern gentleman - sculpted by Paul Hicks.
(It was already pointed out, that the verse isn't actually refering to the person Robert E. Lee but merely a riverboat named after him... that would have been a little bit more tricky to represent as miniatures, though.

)
Available soon throught Empress Miniatures! (Moulds are finished and the castings should be already on their way.)
PLEASE NOTE: Due to some real life commitments (a very time demanding day job involving a lot of travelling, among others), I have to put a temporary stop to direct sales. If everything goes as planned, everything will be back at full speed with regular service at May/June 2017.
All sets (new and previously released) will be available from the fine Ladies and Gents at Empress Miniatures in the meantime.
