Sir Richard O´Nelly and the hunt for the Mokele-Mbembe
« on: 31 October 2016, 02:45:09 PM »
Hi Everyone!
It´s everytime the same: a new hype and I´m on... This time I was infected with the Congo-Fever, and I decided to make a white men´s expedition.
Head of the adventure is the gentleman Sir Richard O´Nelly, a hobby-paleontologist and member of an important club in London. When he heard rumors of a possible descendant of a sauropod in Congo, he just had to travel there and find it. In my Congo-Warband, he is the Scientist:

And here´s his faithful dog Jack:

And of course such an adventure has to be present in the news of europa and the rest of the world, so the respectable reporter Jonathan Cartwright was choosen, to write about the expedition.
Sadly Mister Cartwright´s expectations on the journey were just on travel with the railroad and on a steamer, so his clothes are not very suited for this part of the world and the jungle... And he´s also very frightend of cannibals, and who knows what creatures exist out there...

Very important for the expedition is the big game hunter Garry Little, a very impressive man with a very impressive belly...

from left to right:
Charles Osborne, a former colonel who has interrupted his pension because of the gold in Sir Richard´s pocket, Charlie Turner, a gentleman and professional guide through nearly all of africa, and Garry Little, who darly wants to kill a Mokele-Mbembe...

Here are four porters for the warband:

and my first colour-test, the poor Bob. Bob was infected with malaria just after two weeks in congo... I tried to make him look sick and tired, worked out ok I think...

Yeah, so much for today, I hope you like them!
And excuse my terrible english, I blame my teachers  o_o :D

Cheers,
Lucas

Thank you guys, that´s pure motivation for me!
So, the good thing on hating Halloween is a free evening, so I had enough time to paint one more adventurer.
Here´s Sergant Simpson, the chief of Luggage!
The bases aren´t ready, I don´t have glue and sand here, and sadly no jungle plants  :'(

Hope you like him, and sorry for the bad pictures...
Cheers,
Lucas
