supervike's vike. (American Football)
« on: 26 November 2016, 05:22:01 AM »
I'm a big fan of the American Football team the Minnesota Vikings.  That's why my username is what it is.

So, I finally got around to making me a little Viking, based on the teams Mascot.

I had so much fun, I may build an entire Norse team to field a whole unit. (but I've got sooo many projects)

I based him off of this guy, from Impact Miniatures:

Some greenstuff horns, a new jersey, and viola, instant Viking.

Their mascot looks like this:

Hope you like him.

Very nicely done (conversion and painting).

He is right, ya know?

Great result.

And you simply have to complete the team as you wouldn't want him to get lonely, would you?

It's exactly this sort of thinking that has built my mountain of miniatures.

Love the conversion, it's the creative use of miniatures that I love. You know, when you see someone take a mini and change it through small modifications and application of paint and you wish you'd thought of it yourself. Only I'd have to do Cowboys as Cowboys. Cause even if I'm not the biggest Cowboys fan being in Dallas you have to else your life is just miserable by your peers.
