As a gamer I have always been a butterfly, jumping from one thing to another. Never going
very deep into anything. Always looking for the next shiny thing.

This year I intend to change. I discovered the game Wild West Exodus. This will be the only thing
I will focus on for this year. Maybe an odd figure or two here or there but no other lines or eras.
Along with that just playing all the stuff I have been collecting over the years.

Well my first and foremost resolution will be to finish painting all my minis that I already put paint on. I have at least a 100 of those... or more like 200 lol
Hmmm if a count my 1/72 plastics as well it's near a 1000  o_o
Next will be to paint those I have already based.
Third is to finish painting the figures before starting new ones.
And lastly to buy more scenery than minis.

I'm not good with resolutions though... lol

1. Buy every miniature I have ever wanted. Another £1000 should do it.
2. Paint more. I have rediscovered how much calm pleasure it gives.
3. Play more.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Like many I suspect my lead pile is ridiculous.  So I intend to devote more time to finishing off existing projects.  That also includes selling off those unfinished projects I don't intend to go back to and where possible refrain from buying anything new, at least in terms of models.

I successfully weaned myself off Kickstarter (mostly! Big projects at least)  and that will continue into 2017.

I'll sign up for -

Not getting into any more eras.

Not making any more model purchases (apart from kickstarters - I'm reasoning they're time based).

And focusing any money I spend on creating and casting terrain.

Of course, come 2nd of January...  :(

Just need to keep painting more than I buy. Did really good this year, painted 770 figures out of my lead mountain, without buying anything new. Almost have all of my French in Mexico figures done. Just a few contras left to paint. Will need to buy some Mexican cavalry from Boot Hill & Gringo 40s next year though.

Over half of them were 15mm. I paint about 1-2 hours most nights when I get home from work & the kids are asleep.

Still very impressive. Wish I had your commitment

Get the paying work done on time (ish).

Keep plugging away at those half finished projects.

Get rid of stuff I know I'm never going to paint.

Not really a resolution.  I never manage to keep those.

I want to  paint at least one mini for every mini I buy.  Ideally, 1.5 minis for each new mini in, but that's not likely to happen.

Get the gaming stuff organized.  We have microfiche cabinets, map cases and hardware cabinets full of drawers.  It'd be nice to actually organize how the figures are put away so we can find them when we want them, or even just know where to start looking.

And of course, find dice that aren't actively trying to kill me when we play.  Even better would be dice that are on my side and trying to help win the scenario, not help the other side.

- Finishing my Pulp Alley project in Darkest Africa (miniatures and scenery)

- Finishing my Force on Force project for Malikastan. I still have to paint a decent amount of miniatures (civilians and USMC)

- Creating a campaign (miniatures, scenery, fluff and all that stuff). The campaign will take place in a fantasy setting. I will use the Pulp Alley rules for that project. Also, I plan to make a campaign book (well a .pdf actually) for the whole project.

- Playing as much as 2016

Hobby wise I am pretty happy with 2016. The only thing which bothers me was my lack of focus. Sometimes I worked on 3-4 projects at a time. So for 2017 I will try to focus on one project at a time.
