Love it! She's taking on personality....does the spaceship have a name?
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Ahoy!

So painting things is going slower than I thought, but that's hardly surprising. I'm not a fast person  lol Also some Sylvaneth dryads and PHR ships from Dropfleet Commander distracted me.

Not much to look at, just some basic colors.
It took me a while to decide on the colors, but in the end I will go with a black/dark red/gunmetal scheme. I will use this for the ship exterior as well.

Love it! She's taking on personality....does the spaceship have a name?

Thanks. I have a couple of ideas for naming her, but I'm open for ideas :)

Great job, I really like the scratch built chairs!

Where did you get the floor tread plate?

I have seen a few different scales available online, but they don't give enough detail on how close the pattern is.
Antenocities have 1:25, 1:50 and 1:100 scale and I can't decide which I want without seeing it.
So much to do, so little time...

Thanks, making the chairs were fun, my favorit part so far.
I got most of the supplies form Antenocities, the floor tread plate is 1:50 scale.

Are you hinting at something? :D
The name got me thinking about a turtle like ship though hmmm...  lol

Given the 'cones' at the front, how about 'The Madonna'?

So how is this project going?

As a fellow shipbuilder, I want to see if any construction techniques are worth borrowing!
