Need help finding horrorclix...
« on: February 23, 2009, 06:33:40 PM »
Wasn't sure whether to post this in the bazaar or here, apologies if it's in the wrong place.

Does anyone know of anywhere (ideally in the UK) that stocks horrorclix singles? I've found a few online shops, all of which are OOS of everything I'm after (pretty much anything with 'zombie in it's name, amongst a few other things')... ebay doesn't seem to have much for reasonable prices, and I found strikezoneonline.com, but they're based in Texas (decent prices for singles, even with the exchange rate, but cue long shipping times and inevitably getting chewed up by UK customs as I seem to every time I import anything...)

So I turn to you, the LAFers whose fault it is that I feel the strange urge to own some zombies...

Hi
It's bad news on the whole. I've been looking round shows for Horror clix zombies but no one has any loose horrorclix. In almost a year of looking and nine game shows i've found only one guy who had any and he only had 2 zeds. They  all seem to have  loose Superheroes or Star wars figures but little else.
Some slightly better news is now the games gone traders at shows seem to be selling off their booster packs cheaper. I picked up five packs for a tenner at Hammerhead and managed to get four zombies and a few others that can easily be converted to zombies.

I've got some Horrorclix. Are you searching for specific figures?

the Pierced zombie is available on ebay in the uk for 99p+£2 postage
It was a limited availability figure so the price doesnt seem too bad.

I suggest getting them on ebay...  there are several sellers who have singles.  Commons are usually available for about a buck each.  If you buy several from the same seller the postage is minimal.

The problem I'm finding with ebay is that people seem to be charging for singles as if Horrorclix was still a tournament supported game, and I'd rather be buying metal if I'm spending a couple of quid on a model...

Alas, all the online shops (in the UK at least) seem to have had a clearout...

I blame all of you, I was happily beavering away at WWWII stuff before I joined these forums and got bitten by the zombie bug (terrible pun intended...)

There is a seller who keeps posting lots of about 12 different zombie horrorclix.  I usually see
a lot for him whenever I do a zombie search.
