Perry Brothers make me happy with their ideas. And moreover I have today ordered the command group for my future Jacob's Rifles

I followed the link sbove and was completely surprised to discover that the sets of Afghan regular army figures on the Perry site have a link to the page on my blog with 19th Century Afghan army reference by the legendary Ian Heath, and a recommendation for those interested in the subject to visit.  I am pinching myself in shock and awe, kind of like a Beatles groupie from the Sixties who just saw their fanzine mentioned in the liner notes of the White Album.

I can still hardly believe it!

Good news!!!  - at the risk of appearing ungrateful or greedy some artillery (and limbers?) and cavalry would be nice as well! (Well - I can only ask can't I?)

Wow! I like the look of those. The Afghans could probably be paaded out with their earlier Foundry sculpts.
