Nice to see more ACW on the Board. Redoubt figures are spoilt, in my opinion, by undersized heads.

Seems your 28 mm regiments have 28 figures so don't stop until you get to 28 regiments - per side!!!!!!!!!!    :o

Union are all 28man and Confederate are all 24man and im not far off, Union 26 regiments and Confederate 22 ;)

Redoubt ACW are big favourites of mine and you've painted them up very nicely indeed. Could I ask what colours you've used for the Union uniform please,  particularly the trousers?

Hi yeh I mix Humbrol Matt 104 Oxford Blue with Black and a touch of bronze green as a first coatfor the deepest shade then I block highlight with 157Azure Blue or 96RAF Blue then wash with Citadel Nuln Oil.This ends up giving a shaded jacket in a drker moor subdued finish.

Trousers are a base shade of Vallejo 904 Dark Blue Grey and I highlight by adding a touch of white to the same pot and shade with a wash of Nuln Oil mixed with Drakenhof Nightshade.

Cheers AL

Superb job, as usual 8)

It might be the computer I’m using right now, but the pictures seems a little yellow to me :?

Fantastic work! :-* Redoubt are also my favorite ACW range of figures and in terms of multifunctional poses and size of range really has no rival imho plus the character of the figures are superb.

I really like what you have done and will need to bookmark this page. It would be nice if you had a blog or web page.

Lovely brushwork.

Could you share some photos of your regular Union infantry regiments as well?  Those in regulation dress?
