New post is up on the blog! A battle AAR of my latest game, taking Spectre Operations V2 out for a spin and back to Bazistan.

As always, it's on the blog at https://hntdaab.co.uk/blog/2019/03/26/battle-report-operation-monte-carlo-spectre-operations/

Great looking terrain and figures.
I don't want to say much about the battle.
Don't want to spoil it for others.
I do agree with your post game comments.
Thanks for the write up, loved it.

An interesting AAR.

So did it play better than version 1?

Thank you for all your comments!

So did it play better than version 1?

A resounding yes - I'll be going into more details in a future post but there are so many little tweaks that just make it flow better.

A minivan is good.

Any idea how those Soviets compare to Under Fire and Empress?

Based on previous Eureka purchases I'd say they would look fine together, don't mix and match in the squad.

New post is up! I'm taking a look at the updated Version 2 of Spectre Operations, highlighting some of the changes and giving a little over view.

That is very useful.
I did notice from my reading of the rules that vehicles seemed a bit odd.
I like the idea on the limit of penetration effect.

I will put it on my list for Saturday (assuming they have not sold out).

One day I will finish the criminals from the starter set I bought all those years ago...

Interesting selection from Salute.

By the time I got round to Spectre it had been picked clean (bar a HMV spare wheel and a BMP-1). If they had Spectre version 2 there, it was very low key.

Rulebooks were just behind the main part of the stand (although low down so might have been out of sight when it was busy)

I got to the stand before the show opened to the public and they'd already sold out of objective markers!
