Oxford Tracked Carrier
« on: February 18, 2017, 07:55:45 PM »

Oxford Tracks Carrier
Replacement for the Universal Carrier right at the end of the war.
It might have seen action... but it might not!

Used in Korea and as a tow for 6pdrs and 17pdrs and a light APC with 20mm armour.

Lovely! A real pity no bugger makes decent figures for Korea.

Ficou marcado na história

E agora seu povo

Centurion has been undercoated to look for defects...  but I think it's done!

As for the Oxford:

Lasery bits:

Horstmanny bits

And as if by magic:

Rich,

I think this is probably my favorite build of yours so far I've only recently made a universal so I can appreciate how tidy a model this is ( great minds and so on,I used pretty much the same solution for the springs on my universal.)
Definitely my favorite.
Mark.

The suspension looks really good.

My assumption has always been that the upper hull shape was specific to the gun tractor, and the carrier had more space for troops.

I assumed the same but it doesn't look like it - not seen any variants at all.  They all seem the same 5+1 capacity

It's looking great, would it be rude to ask for a tarp top?
