IIRC there was a game play video a while ago which I didn't watch (I don't watch videos on teh Interwebz unless there's a really really really good reason to) so maybe somebody might want to be bothered to explain how shooting rules (I assume there are some, given the BIG guns) work on a board like that ???

Line of sight is done with dots in the center of each tile. If you can draw a straight line between your character space and you target (from dot to dot) without traversing an object (wall or car), you have line of sight. You can shoot from one side of the board to the other.

More videos are coming next week
Play nicely together, please

Now we get to Batgirl. And things have changed or have been copied exactly. Straight form the comic books

Not bad at all, except for the angle which makes her right arm look stumpy. Which of course it isn't.

That I suppose might work. Was afraid it might be something more complicated, in which case the pseudo-3D would be a real pain (cf. Battle for Alabaster).

Maybe this will help show you how easy it works as well.

Does anyone else want to play a Batman against Batman. I'm talking Bruce against Jean-Paul. Looks Like we might have a chance.

An Armored Bat has arrived.

Hasn't Batman tossed his batarangs on targets around corners regularly or am I remembering wrong?
Suppose the inability to do so could be for rules simplicity/balance though.

I really have no idea what I'm doing.

This may be something in the game, later to be reveled. But for now, all bataranges fly in straight lines...

If you want a look in depth with the rules, there is this video.

Flaming Swords!  :o

Now we are getting deep into complex story telling territory. Once upon a time, there was this dude, called Jean-Paul.  He was a good guy. Then he found a programme...in his head which unlocked Azrael, an avenging angle (maybe he should have been in Marvel) who was bad. Than Bat's interfered and made he good, before giving him his mask, that turn him bad.

How did it finish? I don't know, I haven't gotten that far yet. (Call yourself a fan Badger!!!)

Now we are talking.
We are getting a campaign of the Court Of Owls. Three scenarios that are linked together.  Starting off in Wayne Manor and the working its way into the Batcave.  :o

Who else is excited?

I'm still really excited for this, but havent been impressed with the artistic style in the last several offerings.

It's pushing away from 'comic book art', and getting more 'computer animated' looking.  Some of the designs remind me of the Disney Infinity stuff.  Just not a fan of that style.

The boards however, look incredible and right on par with the earlier designs.
