Not only are the figures excellent - those are great photographs!

How did you get a bunch of goblins to hold still long enough to take their picture?

Bugbear again

First mini after the braek where I thought that things came together again.
We want so much when we need so little. But the illumined man wants for nothing.

With the LPL out off the way I can finally post what I managed to paint over the last year.
In order to get some variety in the stuff I paint and slightly increase the output I started on a dungeon crawler project. No idea about the rules yet but as I have to do all the low level chaff it´s still some years away...

Adventurers e.g. tomorrow´s victims
Not too happy with the wizard but the lantern guys were a nice excersize in source lightning. I went for a subtle look instead of the bathed in bright green approach.

Dungeon Degenerates
An excuse the paint some chaos dwarfes after more than ten years. Trying out differerent schemes was the main motivation for this project.

Beastmen
Dating back to a time when they weren´t just goatmen. More unified than the rest with a minotaur waiting to get painted.

Undead
I wanted them in cold colors and actually use blueish hues again. I have about 30 shades of brown and all green-brown paints ever filled into a dropper bottle or paint pot but my two blue paints date back to the 80s. The walking bed sheet was done in ten minutes with the air brush. Another aim of this project: Finish stuff in one sitiing- didn´t work on the others though but I´m looking forward to the giant rats and spidery things.

I know from a fact that these will be great, but I’m struggling to see them because of the size of the pictures! :-[

Fixed the pic size. Thanks for pointing it out. More to come in the future.

Man what lovely paint jobs! I have that back lantern guy too! Lovely fig! Any idea where the front lantern bearer is from? I wouldn't mind owning that model.

As for the rules, I feel the Labyrinth Lord rules would fit these models quite well. Those rules are free and old school.

Fantastic! Thanks for that! I think the pink to black transition on the beastmen is my favourite part! :-*

Very, very nice indeed. Loving the subtle OSL.

The female “Dungeoneer” with the axe? There are two more of these Citadel figures. Both males, one also with a lantern.

The other chap with a lantern is a converted Citadel cleric. Lost minis wiki link

Astonishing!

They're all lovely, but I think the beastmen are my favourites. Am I right in detecting some subtle conversions there, in the sword-creature's horns and the boar-head of the axe-wielder?

Great painting, love them. Those undead tones are brilliant  :).
@Hobgoblin: 2 swords and board headed one are originals, have those primed in the painting cue. Never seen the big one in the center, though.

Thanks for your comments. I´m surprised that the beast men are that popular as I think of them as the weakest group mainly due to the fur being just a brown mess.

The shield and sword guy had his chordate head gear removed years ago and the middle has the upper body from a bugbear(?) throne bearer.

Yes, that´s the one. The arm with lantern comes from an Artisan Thrilling Tales figure.
