while i've never tried it there's also 7tv from crooked dice which has a bit more cinematic/spy feel from the stuff i've read.

Dags, now that you've got the Pulp Alley rules on the way, note that the most valuable book in the series after that has to be Pulp Leagues. It isn't necessary to enjoy the game, but does pull together a lot of important material from other supplements, particularly Terrors and Gangs, while also providing more complete charts of perks and abilities to build leagues and characters, and it incorporates some adjustments made by Dave & Mila.

After that, depends on what interests you. Pulp Gadgets, Guns, & Vehicles, Vice Alley, and Tomb of the Serpent (for the horror deck and solo rules) all have things to add to the system.
Sailors have more fun!

I really couldn't get on with 7TV v1 - which I feel guilty about as Karl's a mate I've known for more years than either of us would care to remember  :'(

There's also Howard Whitehouse's Astounding Tales:

He's got a new one coming out in June as well so that gives me options if PA doesn't do it (for me)

@Warrenpeace.... thanks for that. If I get on with it, the completionist/megalomaniac in me will lead to getting the whole lot  o_o

Finally got a chance to give Pulp Alley a go now that Salute is over and we've, more or less, recovered!

Thoroughly enjoyed it - still learning obviously and probably getting things wrong but it was fun.

Hopefully Chris is putting on a demo game at Partizan and will try and get a go once it has quietened down and I can get off the stand 8)

PS Great to see loads of our scenery in the rulebook 8)

PPS Tried to join the forum a couple of weeks back but didn't get an activation email :'(

THANKS for playing Pulp Alley. So glad you had fun. And as long as your having fun then you are doing it right.  ;)

Good - we've only had a couple of chances to play and ironed out the cock-ups we were making the first time. Hoping to pick up the supplements at Partizan on Sunday :)
