Who gave the authority to the Commission to 'police' the free canals of Mars. Certainly not some jumped-up free state with pitiful and outdated delusions of grandure.

To our knowledge (both the Japanese and British Empires) no such Commission exists and we will continue with our usage and exploitment trade arrangements as we have always done!

If the forces of Neo-Venizia believe they can threaten us with extreme force then we will have no choice but to meet such force with greater force and secure our rights to the free passage of the canals, trade routes and ultimately the planet as a whole.

Now, now, Boys. Play nicely! lol

More great work there, James.
Would love to see how these all come out together.
Please make sure you post the final set-up.

Love the walker.
What are the legs made from?

He started it  lol

The walker legs (I assume you mean the four legged one) are scratch built with GW plastic extra armour plates from the Chimera.

I'm working on a castable kit walker at the moment  :)

I've also finished the first canal section and will post later today.

It will all be put together before BLAM for everyone's perusal...

cheers

Anglo/Japanese Alliance? Not having that!

Any aggression towards the Neo-Venizian Free Trade Canal Commission will be considered an act of aggression towards the North European Confederation.

Good work on the build Jimbib. That walker is flicking my switch rather nicely too.
Don't!

And who are the North European Confederation to dictate aggression acts!

So the 'Free State' of Neo-Venizia is actually a puppet state of the dastardly Prussians. Now I think we understand things a little better...

Anyway, on a more serious note  ;D

The first board is done and is shown below with water and without  :)

I'll be making the second during the week and the plain ones the following week (if all goes to plan  ::) ).

Stay tuned folks for the next gripping installment of International VSF Relations LAF style  lol

cheers

That sir, would be his emminence Pope Leo XIII, Bishop of Rome and Mars, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province, Sovereign of the State of Vatican City, Servant of the Servants of God.

Nope, it's a puppet state of Rome :D
That said, as the North European Confedaration has registered all of it's vessels with the Canal Commission, they are entitled to the support of the Neo-Venizian Navy in their legitamate use of the canals against unregistered 'pirate' vessels.

This. So there!

The canal looks great by the way, a lovely piece of engineering indeed.

I am afraid Her Majesty's (Gaud Bless 'Er) Government does not recognise the legitimacy of this claim.

Therefore the policing of the Martian canals along with the rest of Mars will remain under the protection of the Anglo/Japanese Forces representing the official Martian Government. Any attempts to illicit monies from vessels travelling the canals or highways of Mars by anyone other than the designated Anglo/Japanese forces will be considered an act of piracy and subject to punishment under Martian Law as laid down in the Anglo/Japan/Mars agreement of 1881.

I am sorry to report that, at the time of the signing of the Anglo/Japan/Mars agreement of 1881, Mars was directly overhead in the skies of central United States, and therefore all other claims are null and void under the auspices of the Monroe Doctrine.

Please, gentlemen, you are obviously running afoul of the God given Manifest Destiny we hold dear, and the contingent of US Marines winging it's way to the Red Planet will so protect!

I love this thread, from the ships to the canal, great work all around.  I was wondering where you got the clear movement trays from? I'm looking for something similar. Sorry for the thread jacking and again, very nice work.

The two legged walkers are converted from Steamboy toys (Steamboy is an animation for the same chap who did Akira and it's certainly less of a mindfuck  :) )
