Looking good, mate, very good.

Just make sure that you have checked the dimensions of your choo-choo if it is to fit through the gap that you have left!
 ;)

Don't worry! I'm sure the Mars Miniature railway would just be as spectacular!! ;)

Have actually designed the train yet?

Snow day today

That got me thinking of Bobsleighs.

Is this going to be a Japanese version of Cool Runnings.....?

You chaps are decidedly weird sometimes  lol

Got the railings done on the top. Going to have to pop into work and get some bits done for the anti-neff guns. They will be on the two poss on the shorts ends.

Bit smaller than I thought but it'll do  :)

cheers

Looking good, mate.

Could have done with something like those posts a while ago...I ended up using 'snipped' nails.

Got the bridge support and the bridge itself painting and got a fair amount of work done on the station  :)

Thanks to Michi's splendid train thread (linky below) I've also started on the same kit that was kindly donated by our very own Dr De'Ath  :)

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=50154.0

The roof for the station is drawn up and ready to cut and I've started to think about the ramp lift from the ground to the Mesa top.

And the train will fit  :D

cheers

Thanks for the kind replies chaps  :)

Finished the construction for the station mesa, just the little additions to do but they can be done separately.

I've inked all the rock and sand and when we get back from an afternoon out I'll be able to drybrush to its proper colour  :D

The rail sleepers are still to paint but they can be done after so the drybrushing doesn't effect the colour.

The little square at the bottom of the incline is for a spiral staircase that will lead onto the incline waggon. I'm going to use the flat bed from the train kit but have a custom passenger carriage sitting at the right angle.

Question for you chaps...

What colour for the train and carriages, I thought either a green similar to the metal work on the rest of the project or a deep maroon  ???

cheers

James
