Hi all,

Meet Livia, gladiatrix. Finally finished painting her over the Easter weekend.

Here is a front-on shot:

And the shield design below. I painted it with a symbol of Apollo, and it's my first attempt at painting a design freehand:

I took another pic last night. Thought the rivals looked cool when I saw them poised in their archways, ready to take to the field.

Me too ... that male gladiator has had some impressive wins before, so I'm hoping Livia is up to the challenge

They look great! Reminds me of the old, old Superior mini of Achilles....must drag him out and get him in the gladiator queue!
