Miniatures for Vatican Swiss Guards?
« on: April 01, 2013, 11:18:22 AM »
Hi everyone

I'm looking for miniatures to represent the Vatican Swiss Guard in 28mm.
I don't know from where to start. I think I could use some kind of miniature with similar uniform and use spanish conqueror head (with helmet).

This is what I want in 28mm
Do you have any idea?
Thanks in advance

It strikes me that you could maybe combine conquistador tops with landsknecht legs?

Funny enough I have the same project :) with this on my workbench (sorry for the bad picture):

These are Gamezone Imperial Halberdiers together with a Foundry Swashbuckler. I have been searching hi and low for suitable miniatures and these are the best I have come across. The only downside is that most of them have knee long leather boots rather than shoes and stockings
