Something of a long overdue return to figure painting occurred recently, and the Frostgrave warband saw further reinforcement in the form of a monk (he'll count as an Infantryman until [REDACTED]) and a Man-at-Arms.

Is this a hint that we'll be seeing Clerics in Frostgrave soon? ;)

Nice kit bashing thanks for sharing  :)

It's been a while, but... another model is painted and subjected to awful photography!

This time, an executioner that I'll probably use as a Barbarian in Frostgrave. He's been sitting around for ages, waiting for me to finish off (those are arms from one of the first Frostgrave Barbarian test sprues!), so I'm glad I've finally finished him.

I'm on a bit of a roll! Another new miniature, this time a very simple conversion of the Frostgrave Wraith Knight with a Barbarian head.

One of the great thing about plastic futures - conversions are so much easier! No sawing "lead."

Thanks, guys!

Another new model today, going to be used as a man-at-arms or a very un-knightly looking knight. He's the third in a little group that's slowly coming together (through coincidence as much as design!).

I've been away from LAF for a while – work has been dominating my available games headspace, and I've been a little anti-social about the hobby (though not, I hope, at recent shows!). That said, I've not been idle, and have been steadily building a sizable (by my standards) warband of various foes to be thrown into Frostgrave as needed.

Lo, I give you the Choleric Order of the Yellow Bile, a force of mainly (for now) GW models with a Nurgle bent... As ever, more pictures (of variable quality) and waffle about conversions and painting at the links below.

Poxwalkers
Demonic shamblers. Probably going to serve as zombies, albeit pretty big, tough ones!

Plaguetouched
Half-demon berserkers. These may be Marked troops (as per Forgotten Pacts), or some trollish substitutes.

Dirty Frank
A half-mad, all-blind ghoul king. A giant or the Ghoul King himself, as necessity demands...

link

Wretches
The first ten (of 20) ghouls to act as Dirty Frank's pack.

Very nice work on those.

...and great use of "non-standard" figures!

Cheers, guys!

A couple more figures for the ever-growing Choleric Order of the Yellow Bile: a wizard and his apprentice.
