Lovely tech gang! Am I right in thinking some subtle converting has gone into the modern arms to make them scale?

Nothing was done to change the size of the arms. The arms with the pouches on the upper arm are original Rogue Trader plastic arms. The ones with the grey armor plates are from the Cadian sprue as well as the 2 lasguns, laspistol & bolt pistol. The plasma gun arms are right from the Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii. The shotgun arms are from the Genestealer Neophyte sprue (best conversion bits in one box).

The real work was making the arms flush with the body or if I had to chop a wrist here or there so it would fit correctly. Then putty any gaps. I was surprised that over half went together with no gaps to fill. The Plasma gun figure took the most work. I had to remove a pistol from his front belt so the plasma gun fit. Then added a backpack but had to chop it some plus added the power cable.

I might have a spare Tech no.8, too. Will have a look on the weekend and get back to you.

Fantastic, lovely subtle tones there, has to be my favourite style of painting to look at - and it's well mastered here.
