Don’t panic Todd. No red flags of any scale just getting frustrated and missing my hobby. Thank you for thoughts, they’re appreciated. Apologies for derailing slightly.

On topic: As long as you enjoy the hobby process it’s almost impossible to actually fail. It’s all a learning process. Thank you koppi for an interesting and well written post.

A very fine reading . I do think similarly, our projects/quests/call it X don't need to be done in a finite time, they can be as the Great Dreamer, awaiting his time in the sunken city of R'Lyeh 
Also, I'm going to bookmark your blog, as I'm currently trying to learn German and it could be a nice exercise reading about the hobby in this language. Danke schön!
