Footsore Welsh - First models

Footsore does make some pretty models, and I couldn't help myself when the Welsh kickstarter launched.  I rationalize it as rounding out the original Saga factions.

I've completed a few of the new kickstarter models as below:

Warlord and Bannerman (removable from a magnetized base):




Unit of Hearthguard (one with a rabbit shield, as the first time I saw it on a menu I misread it as Welsh Rabbit instead of Welsh Rarebit):



Then two of four mounted Hearthguard:

I also dove in on this kickstarter, but have barely gotten around to cleaning up some models! Very nice work. The warlord base is very clever.

Very nice indeed! I suspect a rabbit is easier to portray than a toasted cheese sandwich anyway.

The remaining two cav for the mounted hearthguard are done.  Poorer than the other two, I did give them brighter colors than the warriors, including some yellows and blues.



Then my first unit of warriors.  I tried to keep the colors fairly muted to imply the poorer freemen in the retinue.  There are a few dark greens, which would have been an easy enough color to dye, and then a couple rarer dark grey/blacks.
